Larry O’Nan, Board Chairman

Larry is a 1966 graduate of the University of Colorado, School of Education with an emphasis in English, Speech, and Theater Arts. He chose to use his creative leadership skills at Campus Crusade for Christ International. Larry focused his professional consulting career on coaching and advising nonprofit leaders in proven principles of fund development. He has been privileged to see over $250 million in funds raised through his training of nonprofit staff, coaching leadership in fund development principles. He has consulted with and trained indigenous leaders from 50+ countries over 40 years. Larry continues to be involved in non-profit governance, serving as Board Chair of Santa Claus Inc. and serving as board member for six other non-profit organizations. Larry is also the author of “Giving Yourself Away” and the value focused children’s series “The Adventures of Andy Ant”; teaching children the consequences of personal behavior while enjoying fun adventures. Larry is blessed with two daughters and six grandchildren.
Michelle Chairez
FedEx Administration
Michelle has worked for FedEx for 16 years. She started her FedEx career as a Pick-up and Delivery driver and worked her way up through the ranks into the office as a receptionist and finally to her current position in Administration, where she has worked for the past 9 years. Michelle has been married to her husband, Greg, for 15 years. Michelle and Greg have 4-legged kids, Brandy Girl, Izabell and Lil One. Since working in Administration at FedEx Michelle has volunteered with many different organizations. Bike MS, LA Audubon, National Fish and Wildlife, CHOC, LA Foodbank and her favorite, Santa Claus Inc.
Don Di Carlo
President, Golden Bear Cottages, Inc.
Don DiCarlo earned a BS in Political Science and a minor in Economics at UCR. A lifelong entrepreneur, he has enjoyed much success as a businessman and with his first love, coaching baseball and softball. As a pitching and hitting coach he has worked with athletes at the professional level down through the ranks to Little League and every level in between. He was the President of Palm Springs Suns AA Professional Baseball and Oxnard Pacific Suns AA Baseball throughout the 1990’s. Don and Karen purchased Golden Bear Cottages, a year-round resort in beautiful Big Bear Lake in 1999 as he and Karen took a successful leap into the hospitality industry. He is also the founder and CEO of the Big Bear Lake Marketing Association. A loyal volunteer of over 25 years at Santa Claus, Inc. he has served on the board of directors for fifteen years. He is an invaluable asset to the organization, serving as the Director of Operations.

Assistant Superintendent, San Bernardino County Schools
Miki joined the Board of Directors of Santa Claus Inc. in 2021, as a representative of the longstanding partnership that exists between SCI and San Bernardino County Schools, as we continue our work to improve the quality of life for impoverished children attending county schools.
Dr. Barbara Sorter, Ed.D.
Riverside County Schools, Administrator Special Education
Barbara is a Special Education Administrator with Riverside County Office of Education. She has spent the last twenty-five years supporting youth with disabilities. She has a doctorate from California Lutheran University with research in the field of special education transition services. Her primary focus is on working with youth on gaining pre-employment skills, building their self-advocacy skills, and becoming college & career ready. Barbara is a member of several educational organizations including Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) and Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE). She was the 2019 ACSA Region 19 Special Education Administrator of the Year.
Dr. Cherina Betters
Chief of Equity and Access, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Cherina Betters is the Chief of Equity and Access for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. A lifelong learner, she has been in the field of K-12 education for over two decades in the capacity of teaching and administration serving the students, families and communities of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties in Southern California. Dr. Betters has always viewed education as the means to overcome. The first in her family to graduate from college, Dr. Betters has a deep appreciation for education and the educational process. Dr. Betters has been recognized by numerous organizations for her service to educational equity including being named 23rd Senate District of California Woman of the Year, and Transformational Change Leader by California State University, San Bernardino. Dr. Betters is committed to advocating for students and educational excellence through equity. Dr. Betters is the proud parent of 6 children and one grandchild.
Godette Georgianna Wallace
Attorney at Law
Godette Georgianna Wallace earned a B.A. from UCLA in political science and a J.D. at Glendale University School of Law. Ms. Wallace was the first woman attorney at California Federal; working in the legal department of Tokai Bank of California, and at the law firms of McKinley & Capeloto, Wolf & Wolf, and Parker Stanbury. Ms. Wallace served as Senior and General Counsel for several California banks, including Central Pacific Bank of California, Wilshire State Bank, Far East National Bank, and Community Bank. Ms. Wallace is active in professional and volunteer organizations. She is a member the Bank Operations Counsel Association, and the Board Trustees of the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House.

Evangelist Jerry Musgrove is the Founder of DECENTLY & IN ORDER MINISTRIES dedicated to: “Promoting unity within the body of Christ; Bridging the gap across denomination, race, ethnicity, gender, and class lines; Bringing the message of salvation to the lost; and Empowering believers with the revelatory Word of God.”Jerry Musgrove is married to Dr. Robbin Huff-Musgrove, a licensed clinical psychologist and cofounder to the ministry. Together they share two daughters, Alexis (Dorcen Boyce) and Crystal Musgrove, one grandson Daylen, and one granddaughter Skylar.
